How does it work

Breaking, smashing or even cutting of window glass produces a special noise (frequency) that can be detected by the sensible microphone of an acoustic glass break detector. These special characteristics, even with different types of window glass are programmed into the intelligent built-in analyze electronics. It is not reacting at breaking bottles or drinking glasses as they have a different frequency. For testing a special tone impulse generator is necessary.
